DoubleStreet is a small-scale boutique breeder of the Australian Cobberdog, located in a charming village in the polder, near Rotterdam. Our journey began in 2013 when we welcomed our very first Labradoodle into our family. At that time, the breed was still relatively unknown in the Netherlands, but we immediately fell in love with the dog's unique character and charming appearance.
After some time, we felt the desire to welcome a second dog into our family, just as affectionate, loving, and enchanting as our first. We decided to breed a litter ourselves, and thus, eight beautiful puppies were born. It was a special experience to see how this new generation inherited the traits of their mother.
Yet, the desire for another litter remained. Over time, we thoroughly researched the history of the Australian Labradoodle and the Australian Cobberdog. We reached out to the founder of the breed in Australia, and after careful consideration, we decided to import a male from Australia to strengthen and professionalize our breeding program.

At DoubleStreet, the well-being of both the parent dogs and the puppies is our top priority. Our puppies grow up in a warm, homely environment, never in kennels. We do everything we can to ensure that the puppies are well-socialized before they leave our nest.
We take health very seriously. All of our parent dogs undergo thorough veterinary examinations for potential issues and are given the green light to be used for breeding. This goes beyond a standard health check and includes multiple objective visual and radiographic exams, as well as DNA testing. When you purchase a puppy from us, you will have access to the health certificates, ensuring you that your new family member has a healthy start.
Because we strongly support official breed recognition and want to contribute to the healthy continuation of the breed, we are a proud member of and accredited by the MDBA — the Master Dog Breeders and Associates in Australia. We are registered under the kennel prefix DoubleStreet, and our membership number is 34646.
