Duke comes from one of the world’s most renowned breeding programs, established by Beverley Rutlands Manners, the founder of the breed. Beverley’s vision is focused on developing high-quality therapy lines.
Duke has very prominent ancestors such as Rutlands Kelby, Magnum, Ava, and Seanna. All of them played a key role in the development of the breed.
He is the spitting image of his father, Sharchum Little Gingerbread Man, with a beautiful, silky straight coat and unique gold-green eyes.
Duke is a true gentleman with a mission. He is intelligent, eager to learn, and always strives to be "the best in class." However, what truly makes Duke special is his sensitivity and ability to connect. While he is not a working dog in the traditional sense, his talent lies on a deeper level. Duke has a natural intuition for providing emotional support. His large gold-green eyes seem to look straight into your soul, as if he wants to say: "I am here for you."
One of the most memorable experiences with Duke happened when he was just 16 weeks old. Only five days after his long journey from Australia, I brought him to visit my grandfather, who wasn’t feeling well at the time. I wanted to introduce Duke to my grandfather. As soon as Duke walked into the room, it seemed like he instinctively knew exactly what to do. He jumped onto the couch, snuggled close to my grandfather, and placed his head on his lap. From that moment on, they became the best of friends. It was as if Duke already understood how to offer comfort and warmth.
